Modern information and communication technologies play a fundamental role in the activities of an organisation such as Community Housing Cymru (formerely The Welsh Federation of Housing Associations). We are based in Wales, UK.

Community Housing Cymru exists to enable our members to work effectively and flourish in Wales. As a membership body, Community Housing Cymru is owned and is accountable to our members.

We do not disclose your personal data to other organisations.

All our employees and data processors, who have access to and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of our visitors' personal data.

We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to state institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.

Access to the personal data we may hold about you
You can ask us whether we are keeping personal data about you and request a copy of that data, by contacting the Federation.

We will provide you with a readable copy of the personal data we keep about you within a week - although we will require proof of your identity before doing so. We will provide the information without any charge.
 
Under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 you can challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data:

We reserve the right to refuse to provide our visitors with a copy of their personal data for any of the relevant exceptions set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 - we will give reasons for our refusal.
