Training
Community Housing Cymru provides a range of training services to members and non-members. We work closely with our members and our networks to ensure that these services meet our customer's needs.
We have a wide range of courses which are delivered by high quality trainers and as part of our continuous improvement policy, all our tutors and courses are monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.
Delegates on our courses will have the opportunity to learn in a comfortable and friendly environment. For those who have specialist requirements our staff will make every effort to ensure that these requirements are catered for. You will also receive a certificate for the days training.

In-house courses
All our courses can be delivered on an in-house basis or if you can’t find the right course, we can develop a new course that meets your needs at a time and place that suits you.
This is proving to be a very popular service as last year we ran 49 courses for a number of different organisations. Many organisations find it such a useful service that we have set up a programme of in-house courses for them. We have also developed a training pack for associations to train their board members.
There are a number of advantages to providing in-house training:
- The more staff you train the lower the cost per delegate – on most courses we can take up to 16 staff
- Reduction in travelling time as the course can be held in your offices/nearby venue
- You can ensure that your staff develop a consistent approach by being trained by the same trainer
- You can choose what areas/ topics you want the training to cover.
